Cooking couscous
This is easy. When your planning a meal, allow about 70 grams of dry couscous
for each person, but for the purposes of instruction, we'll deal here with around
250g of dry couscous In practice, that roughly equals a large mug of couscous,
so we'll take it from there.
Fry the couscous in a dessertspoon or two of oil for two minutes then add
a large mug of boiling water and some salt. Remove from the heat, stir once
and cover the pan. After five minutes, return the pan to the heat and stir and
cook the couscous for 3 or 4 minutes. Fluff it up with a fork before serving.
