These first three pictures are from around Spandau. The one in the middle is Spandau Citadel.
Back in central Berlin, this is the television tower in Alexander Platz. Locally, it's known as the Telespargel which means 'the toothpick' and it's the city's tallest structure. Nearby there's a statue of Neptune with his attendant mermaids.
And this church isn't far away, either, as yopu can see from the nice photo in the middle.
This is a pictue of a clay relief design from somewhere in the Middle East. It's now in the Pergammon Museum - a depressing place full of plunder from ancient sites around the world...and we payed to get in..
This is the Reichstag. We wanted to go inside but there was a huge queue and a sign saying 'Estimated waiting time: 1.5 hours'. We went to Potsdammerstrasse instead where we saw this weird sculpture and then we went back to Kurfurstendam where the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtnis Kirche is. Here's another photo of that.
