Tomato Paneer

Paneer is easy to make. I've said that elsewhere and I've even given the recipe to prove it. I developed this recipe in India where you can buy paneer ready made. That makes doing recipes with it even quicker. This is a simple recipe which doesn't involve much seasoning. It isn't necessary. The sweet and tart taste of tomatoes combined with the creamy sourness of the paneer is enough to make this a delicious dish.

Ingredients

200-250g of paneer
4 tomatoes
1 small onion
1 clove of garlic
A third of a teaspoon of ground coriander
Vegetable oil
Salt

Cut the paneer into cubes and fry it in some vegetable oil along with the chopped onion and the clove of garlic (crushed or chopped). Fry until the paneer starts to go a nice golden colour.

Add the chopped tomatoes, coriander and salt and cover the pan (leave a space for steam to escape). Cook on a medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring as little as possible.
