Dead easy. This is how you make something approximating Tabasco sauce. Okay, it's not nearly as good but it's hot and it's home made.
Mix everything together in a jar. Cover and leave in the fridge for 24 hours - give it a shake occasionally. Put a little piece of thin cotton cloth (about 10cm2) over a tea strainer and place the tea strainer over a mug. The sauce mixture should have settled and have a clear layer on top. Try not to disturb it as you pour the mixture through the cloth. The chilli powder should be last into the strainer and you can scoop the rest out of the jar with a teaspoon. Gather up the ends of your cloth and squeeze the rest of the liquid out gently. Put your chilli sauce in a small bottle or something similar. Keep it in the fridge - it'll keep for ages without spoiling.
