Sometimes you can find such olives in delicatessens and supermarket salad counters. They're usually sold loose, by weight and often work out a good deal more expensive than their canned equivalent. Try making your own. It's very, very easy.
1 can of green olives
A half teaspoon of coriander seed
A quarter teaspoon of dried mint
A quarter teaspoon of dried thyme
2 teaspoons of olive oil
Crush the coriander seeds and mix all the ingredients together. This will work with black olives too, but I prefer it with green. If you prefer black olives, why not try black olive and red pepper salad.
