This is an Indian style breakfast and it's only quick if you have some left-over cooked potatoes in the fridge and a couple of chappatis handy. If you don't have the chappatis, you could make sandwiches with some other kind of bread but you'll have to change the name. The left-over potatoes, then, are the essential ingredient.
Ingredients
Cooked potatoes
Chilli pepper
Salt
Vegetable oil, margarine or butter for frying
Chappatis
Cut the potatoes into 1 or 2 cm pieces and fry them in a little oil for a few minutes. They'll stick to the pan, but that's okay. Use a wooden spatula and scrape the pan as you go. The crispy fried bits will add to the taste. Add chilli and salt, stir, then put the mixture in chappatis and roll them up.
