Here's my second collection.

I'm getting to grips with my technique now - got a better idea of how to do things. I just hope the tracks aren't starting to sound samey.

This wee collection is slightly auto-biographical in nature.... just slightly though.

Again, I've not been too fussy with the mix down: partly, because I don't have the facilities, but also because I'm more concerned with figuring out how to get the sounds down in the first place. That's the learning curve I'm on now. How to get quality into the final mix is something I will think about later....

These are some of my first attempts at using Audacity. I took all the sounds from free samples on the Internet and just messed about with the various functions on the recorder to make them into something different.

I did the mix down very quickly - I'd call them 'demos' in the condition they're in at the moment. But, that's one of the benefits of doing things on the computer. I can come back and rework them later when I've learnbed a bit more.

Doing these five tracks taught me a lot about using the Audacity software: it's possibilities and it's limitations. I think I'm better at it now than I was at the beginning and I hope the quality will continue to improve as I do more work. When I'm a bit more proficient, I'll maybe come back and tweak the tracks and remix them .... and maybe not.
